The solemn opening brought together teachers, staff, and students of VyatGU. The honorary guest of the event was the Minister of Youth Policy of the Kirov Region, Alexandra Ploskonosova. The exhibition "I Cannot Imagine Myself Without Russia" (16+) is not just a series of photographs, but a true visual exploration of the value worldview of students. Its exhibits were created using the photo-voice method – photographing objects of the surrounding reality that reflect the associations that students have with the concepts of "homeland," "family," and "love." The presentation of each photo image by the students was accompanied by an interpretation that expands and enriches the understanding of key Russian values. "I am always happy when events initiated by teachers and students take place at our university. The exhibition is a sincere impulse of our youth to express their attitude towards the Motherland. This is incredibly touching, and I am grateful for your work!" noted the rector of VyatGU, Valentin Pugach, in his speech.

The works of VyatGU students allow us to look at love, family, and homeland from an unusual angle, while the authors' descriptions provide an opportunity to delve into meanings, reflect, and compare them with one's own understanding of these values. "This project has become for us not just a creative exposition, but a visual exploration – a search for value orientations. Using the 'photo-voice' method, we tried to capture what the younger generation today finds its main support in – love for the native land, loyalty to family, and devotion to home. In our lenses are the meanings and values that help us confidently look to the future and create for the good of the Motherland," the organizing students confess.

Elena Shcherbinina, acting head of the Department of Russian Language, Speech Culture, and Teaching Methods at VyatGU, emphasized that: "The exhibition is an opportunity for young people to express their thoughts on what fills their lives with meaning today, gives them the strength to create – about the Motherland, family, and love. The exhibition is a catalyst for discussions about the present and future of Russia among students, educators, and residents of the city."

The traveling exhibition will take place in various locations of the university throughout the year and will also be available in digital format. The exhibition is prepared as part of the implementation of strategic goal No. 3 "Education of a patriotic and socially responsible personality," project "Worldview Basis of Personality" of the Development Program of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Vyatka State University" for 2025–2036.
On the Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity, student couples from VyatGU entered into family unions at the site of their alma mater "The City We Build Ourselves": a master class was held at VyatGU by a renowned political scientist.
