С наступлением теплой погоды отдыхающие начали чаще посещать водоемы, сообщили в региональном правительстве. Глава региона Александр Соколов обратился к руководителям муниципалитетов с призывом повысить контроль за купающимися. «Есть места для отдыха у воды, но большинство из них подтоплены. Необходимо направить спасателей туда, где люди пытаются искупаться», — отметил губернатор. В Кирове городской пляж у «Титаника» на данный момент частично закрыт для отдыхающих. На территории продолжают дежурить спасатели. Также функционируют четыре места отдыха у воды: в Нововятском районе, у Филейского затона и в микрорайоне Дороничи. Жителей Кирова просят воздержаться от купания, пока уровень воды не опустится до безопасных значений.
