In the Kirov region, a retro train will be launched for the first time to Yuryu.

      The retro train will run from July 16 to 18, as well as on July 20. The train will depart from the Kirov-Kotlassky station at 09:25 and arrive in Yury at 10:35. On the return trip, the train will leave at 14:20 and return to Kirov at 15:30.

      At the head of the train will be an old steam locomotive of the series L. Meanwhile, passengers will be transported in modern carriages equipped with air conditioning, bio-toilets, automatic doors, individual sockets, and other amenities.

      During the trip, tourists will be told about the history of the Vyatka region and its Orthodox shrines. After arriving in Yury, excursion participants will visit the Church of St. George the Victorious, the temple complex, and the holy spring in the village of Velikoretskoe. There will also be free time for walks and souvenir shopping. On the way back, passengers will be treated to tea with pancakes.

      Previously, excursion trips on steam traction were organized in the Kirov region to Slobodskoy and Matanets.
