In the Lebyazhsky district, a man kept unconfined cattle.
In the Lebyazhsky District of the Kirov Region, the Rosselkhoznadzor held the owner of a personal subsidiary farm administratively liable for violations of veterinary legislation. The inspection took place on June 24 in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region. Specialists examined the farm, which housed 33 heads of cattle, 140 sheep and goats, as well as 19 geese and five chickens. During the inspection, it was revealed that the territory of the farm was not fenced off from the intrusion of wild animals, and there was no disinfection barrier at the entrance. Additionally, large and small cattle were kept together in one room, where agricultural birds were also present. Inspectors also found the absence of a disinfection mat at the entrance to the building, a large amount of manure inside and around the building, as well as the lack of a specially equipped area for its storage and disinfection. Furthermore, the farm stored feed without labeling, making it impossible to determine its origin and safety. Some sheep and goats lacked mandatory identification, and there were no special containers for collecting biological waste in the premises. Following the inspection on July 2, the farm owner was fined administratively. He was also issued a directive to eliminate all identified violations. The Rosselkhoznadzor reported that compliance with the requirements would be monitored by the agency.
