They have started removing the old asphalt on Stroitel'naya Street in Kirovo-Chepetsk.

      In Kirovo-Chepetsk, work has begun on the repair of another section of the road network. Today, machinery is operating on Stroitel'naya Street — here, road workers are removing the worn asphalt surface. The length of the section being repaired is 256 meters. The removed granulate, as clarified by the administration, is not sent to waste but is used on the same site — it is used to replenish the shoulders.

      At the same time, the contractor is reporting on the progress of work on other streets in the city. On Parkovaya and on the passage from Lenin Street to the veterinary station, the second layer of fresh asphalt has already been laid. Work is still ongoing on Engels Street — there, the installation of curb stones is taking place.

      In total, there are nine sections of city roads planned for this summer. Their total length, according to the press service, is 2.74 kilometers.
