Voting for the "Road Billion" will take place at the end of September.

      Today, July 3, at a press conference in the Kirov region government, the implementation of the "Road Billion" program was discussed. It was noted that each year, more people participate in voting for various roads. In 2022, 9,000 local residents cast their votes for road repairs, and in 2025, the number increased to 52,000 people.

      Initially, the amount for the "Road Billion" was set at 1 billion rubles. In 2026, Governor Alexander Sokolov announced that starting next year, it will increase to 1.5 billion rubles.

      Voting for the selection of sections for repair in 2027 will take place from September 18 to 20. It should be noted that there will be no electronic voting this time, only offline. The list of projects will be published by the authorities by August 1.

      In 2026, the program plans to bring 145 road sections in 100 populated areas into order, with a total length of 74 kilometers. To date, work has been completed in the Lenin district of Kirov, Slobodsky, Omutninsky, Vyatskopolyansky, and Falensky districts.
