More than 20 regions have imposed restrictions on gasoline sales.
Restrictions have affected Crimea, Sevastopol, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Saratov, Lipetsk, Tver, Kurgan, Tyumen, Omsk, Vologda, Vladimir, Penza, Kemerovo regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Adygea, and a number of other regions. In some subjects, authorities have taken strict measures. Thus, in Crimea and Sevastopol, the free sale of fuel for individuals and legal entities has effectively been halted. Fuel is directed to ensure state and emergency services. In Kursk and Bryansk regions, as of June 24, it is prohibited to dispense gasoline into canisters. Refueling is only allowed directly into vehicle fuel tanks. In Kurgan, Tyumen, and Omsk regions, limits are in place: up to 40 liters of gasoline and up to 80 liters of diesel fuel per vehicle. At highway gas stations, the limits for diesel have been increased to 200 liters. In Voronezh and Saratov regions, motorists are allowed no more than 30 liters of gasoline per refueling. In Lipetsk region, as reported by the local governor on his social media, authorities officially acknowledged disruptions in fuel supplies in Lipetsk and Yelets and imposed temporary restrictions until June 28. The number of Russian regions where restrictions on the sale of gasoline and diesel fuel are in place continues to grow. As of the morning of June 25, limits on fuel supply or other restrictions have been introduced in more than 20 subjects of the Russian Federation.
