The water level in Kirovo-Chepetsk has risen by 57 centimeters: traffic on the bridge is closed.
In the last 24 hours, on June 24, in Kirovochepetsk, the water level in the Cheptsa River increased by 57 centimeters, reaching a mark of 108.5 meters from zero on the Baltic height system. The maximum allowable level for the operation of the floating bridge is 107.99 meters.
Yesterday, the authorities decided to completely close traffic on the floating bridge. Prohibitory signs and concrete blocks were installed at the bridge entrances. They do not plan to raise it for now.
It should be noted that the water level in the Vyatka River has also risen. Over the course of a day, it increased by 1.19 meters.
