In Kirov, a train passenger was detained for carrying drugs in socks.
During the May holidays, transport police detained a passenger showing signs of drug intoxication on the train "Novy Urengoy - Moscow." He was taken to a service compartment for a personal search. In the presence of witnesses, a flask containing a powdered substance was found in the man's socks. At Kirov station, the passenger was removed from the train and taken to the duty station of the linear department. An examination confirmed that the seized substance is a derivative of the narcotic "ephedrone" with a total weight of 0.89 grams. It was established that the 32-year-old native of Perm Krai ordered the drug through an online store, retrieved it from a hiding place before the trip, and planned to use it personally, without the intent to sell. A criminal case under part 1 of article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation has been sent to court. The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to three years. The editorial office of Newsler.ru reminds that drug use harms health and threatens life.
