The incident occurred in the area of the cargo parking lot. The driver began repairing the vehicle and was underneath it. At that moment, the car started moving on its own, and the crossbeam pinned the man to the ground. As a result, the victim sustained multiple fractures of the ribs and sternum, bruises to the lungs and heart, as well as traumatic shock. According to A. D. Loginov, the deputy head of the State Labor Inspectorate, preliminary data indicates that the driver did not take the necessary measures to prevent the vehicle from moving on its own. The specific circumstances and causes of the incident will be established during the investigation. The injury sustained has been classified as severe.
