The Kirov FSB has come under the leadership of Andrey Troyan.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing a new head of the FSB for the Kirov region. The position has been handed over to Colonel Andrey Vladimirovich Troyan, who previously held a similar position in the FSB Administration for the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
Andrey Troyan replaces Major General Alexander Sopolev. The colonel has been serving in the security agencies since 1995. During his service, he has been recognized with both departmental and state awards.
Now, the Kirov administration is headed by an officer with experience working in one of the most eastern regions of the country.
