The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has refuted the information circulating on the internet that utility prices will rise starting in July. "The annual tariff indexation will take place on October 1, and the level of changes will not exceed the limits set by the government decree," the agency's press service stated. The antimonopoly service also noted that it will monitor the process of tariff setting in the regions. If violations are identified, the FAS will exclude unreasonably included funds from the tariffs, reports RBC.
