The update of schools is being carried out as part of the capital repair program initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, at the United Russia party congress in 2021. Today, the program is an important part of the party's popular program and allows for the creation of modern conditions for children's education and teachers' work. Boris Vesnin visited schools in the Oktyabrsky and Pervomaisky districts, where major and ongoing repairs are taking place. Deputies and representatives of United Russia - Yaroslav Shulakov, Ilya Lebedev, Vadim Ralnikov, Sergey Kopytin, Konstantin Pomaskin, and Nikita Solomennikov - also participated in the working meetings. At the Artistic and Technological Lyceum, work is underway to insulate and update the building's facade. By the end of the month, tenders for replacing the heating system are expected to take place. At the Alexander Grin Gymnasium, a large-scale capital repair is being carried out. The facade is being updated, sports halls are being renovated, floor coverings have been replaced, and interior finishing work continues. The total cost of the repairs is nearly 33 million rubles. In addition to construction work, the gymnasium has received new equipment for classrooms and the assembly hall. Boris Vesnin also assessed the progress of work at school No. 47. Here, windows and doors in classrooms have been replaced, and repairs to the premises are ongoing. At school No. 10 named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky, the facade and roof have been completely updated, and repairs to the premises are continuing. At school No. 53, ongoing repairs are being carried out. The roof of the vestibule and the steps of the emergency exit have already been repaired, and protective structures have been installed in the sports hall. Following the inspection, Boris Vesnin emphasized the importance of systematic work on updating the educational infrastructure: "The capital repair program for schools, included in the popular program of the United Russia party, has already proven its effectiveness. We see real results — this is the creation of a comfortable, safe, and modern educational environment for children and teachers. Together with colleagues, school management, city administration, and the regional government, we are working to ensure that all facilities are ready for the start of the new school year," Boris Vesnin emphasized.
