A woman applied to the social protection department for state assistance, deliberately underreporting her income and providing false information. Based on this, she was assigned the status of a low-income family and entered into a social contract, under which she received 350,000 rubles. The court found her guilty under part 3 of article 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud in obtaining payments) and imposed a fine of 100,000 rubles. In addition, after considering the civil claim of the injured legal entity, material damages of 350,000 rubles were recovered from the convicted individual. The sentence has entered into legal force.
