Traffic on Kazanskaya will be restricted until July 9 due to heating network repairs.
"T Plus" is starting the second phase of replacing heating networks on Kazanskaya Street in Kirov. Work will begin this week. The total length of pipelines that will be replaced with new ones before the start of the heating season will be 1,079 meters.
According to a resolution from the city administration, all types of transport will be restricted on Kazanskaya Street between Morozovskaya and Mopra until July 9 during the construction and installation works. Previously, reconstruction had already begun on the section from Morozovskaya to Sovetskaya since June 4.
All work, including landscaping and asphalting, must be completed by the beginning of September.
As noted by Sergey Beresnev, the director of the Kirov branch of "T Plus," the reconstruction is necessary to ensure reliable heating supply to residential buildings and social facilities in the historical part of the city. A significant portion of the networks here has not been overhauled since their construction in 1979. Over the past five years, 57 defects have been identified and eliminated in this area.
In total, in 2026, "T Plus" will update more than 9 kilometers of pipelines in Kirov across 14 sections. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and plan their routes in advance.
