In Kirov, about two billion was spent on street maintenance.

      At the meeting of the Duma commission, information was presented about the maintenance of the street and road network in Kirov. According to a representative of the administration, three contractors are responsible for the maintenance: "Gordormoststroy," "Novovyatich," and "KUU-4," as well as subcontractors CBO "Etalon," "Avtodor-Stroy," and "KKH." The total amount of the contracts is about 2 billion rubles.

      For summer maintenance, 381 million rubles have been allocated, and for additional work, 926 million rubles. The main summer tasks include repairing unpaved roads, restoring the surface of the roadway, eliminating defects and damages on roads and sidewalks, updating and replacing curbs, and much more. Additional work includes cleaning/painting/repairing pedestrian barriers, bus stops, and trash bins, tidying up the shoulders, repairing overhead pedestrian crossings, painting curbs and trees, disposing of garbage after community clean-ups, clearing brush, painting small architectural forms, handrails, and so on. On average, up to 90 units of machinery are deployed to the city's roads each day, and up to 40 units at night. The maximum number of workers is 140 people.

      The speaker added that representatives of the customer periodically conduct inspections. They issued 62 orders to eliminate violations, including for mowing lawns. Six of these were not resolved on time, and the contractors were fined a total of 600,000 rubles. In addition, the authorities are preparing weekly and monthly inspection reports assessing the quality of the work performed. As a result of the inspections in April-May 2026, all contractors were fined approximately 4 million rubles based on these reports.
