The central bank will issue a coin featuring a mythical character.
The Bank of Russia has announced the release of a new commemorative coin from the series "Legends and Tales of the Peoples of Russia." This time it is dedicated to the Raven Kuth, a hero of the traditions of the peoples of the Far East, associated with legends about the creation of the world.
The coin is made of 925 silver, weighs 31.1 grams, and has a nominal value of 3 rubles. The mintage is limited: only 5,000 copies have been issued.
The reverse side features a fairy-tale raven riding on a sled pulled by humpback salmon. The composition is complemented by a mountain, a forest, and the sun with colorful elements.
As clarified by the Bank of Russia, the coin is an official means of payment and must be accepted at face value throughout the country. However, the actual collectible value is usually significantly higher.
