The Vladimir region has moved to Russia.
Over the past 20 years, more than 1.2 million people have moved to Russia under the state program for the resettlement of compatriots. This was reported by Interfax, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. It is noted that the number of resettlers is comparable to the population of large Russian regions, such as Vladimir and Penza regions.
The program has been in effect since 2006 and is aimed at helping people who want to return to Russia for permanent residence. During this time, participants have chosen various regions of the country, most often the Tula, Kaluga, Chelyabinsk, Voronezh, and Novosibirsk regions.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs specifies that the majority of resettlers are of working age. Many of them have higher or specialized secondary education, work, raise children, and successfully adapt to new conditions, contributing to the development of the regions.
