In the past two days, two men have died in the water bodies of the Kirov region. On June 12, a body showing signs of drowning was found in the Vyatka River within the city limits of Kirov. The next day, a tragedy occurred in the Uninsky district — a 63-year-old local resident drowned while fishing.
According to the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region, the identity of the deceased in the Vyatka has not yet been established. The body of the 63-year-old man who drowned in a pond in the village of Magi in the Uninsky district has been identified.
In both cases, the territorial investigative departments have organized procedural checks. Investigators conducted inspections of the scenes and appointed necessary forensic examinations. Procedural decisions will be made based on the results of the checks.
The Investigative Committee reminds Kirov residents of safety measures on the water: swimming is only allowed in designated areas and under no circumstances should one enter the water while intoxicated. When in a boat, it is necessary to use life-saving equipment.
