A resident of Kirov paid 214 thousand rubles to extortionists after refusing intimate services.
A man approached the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kirov with a statement about extortion. The police established that the day before, the Kirov resident was searching online for offers of intimate services. He contacted one of the girls using the provided contacts, but after a brief conversation, he changed his mind and ended the call.
Soon, an unknown person with a Caucasian accent called him. The caller stated that the man's actions had caused disruptions on the intimate leisure website, and money was required to resolve the issue. The stranger dictated the details and threatened with "measures" in case of refusal.
Perceiving the threat of violence as real, the Kirov resident sent 214,000 rubles through several transfers. When another demand to transfer money came, the man decided to contact the police.
A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Extortion." The police are identifying the caller and the recipient of the money transfers.
