Olesya Redkina commented on her participation in the State Duma elections.
Local Telegram channels and "all-knowing political technologists" speculated about Olesya Redkina's participation in the State Duma elections from the party of the Just Russia: "she will definitely run," "she will probably run," and even "she will run on the Just Russia lists." However, Olesya Alexandrovna herself claims that over all the years, when she lost her State Duma mandate due to a false denunciation of committing a serious crime, she never once thought about continuing her political career.
"I didn't write an application, I didn't express a desire to become a candidate — I don't have the strength for that... Where do these authors get the information that I'm going to the State Duma, that some political intrigue is brewing, and we need to wait for the congress's decision, which will sort everything out... Of course, at first, it's amusing — when someone makes up nonsense in my name, but now it starts to annoy me because I have to answer the same questions that don't interest me," says Olesya Alexandrovna.
Redkina herself assessed the likelihood of her non-participation in the elections at 99.99 percent:
"Because I think it's funny: what if a miracle happens — Vladimir Vladimirovich calls and says: 'Why did you give up, Olesya? I fought for you... Come to us in Moscow,' — then I would have to go," she laughs for the first time in four years during a conversation with a journalist from Newsler.ru, the former chief physician of the Kirov Infectious Diseases Hospital, regarding whom, we remind you, all charges under serious articles of the Criminal Code were dropped on April 28 "for lack of elements of a crime" (see Newsler.ru — "Minus four years of life: all charges against Olesya Redkina have been dropped. The Prosecutor General's Office has apologized").
It should be noted that with the approach of the elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov region and the State Duma, the version is increasingly being voiced that allegedly Dmitry Ruskiy, a former deputy from the Just Russia party in the Legislative Assembly, who was removed from the "gray house" by the head of the region Alexander Sokolov and was listed as an advisor to Prime Minister Mikhail Sandalov, has not forgotten the "humiliation." And, probably, he is gathering some kind of opposition "junta." As "malicious tongues" point out, back in late May, Dmitry Mikhailovich allegedly "made his way" in one of the not very readable federal publications regarding the loyalty of Senator Vyacheslav Timchenko to the Just Russia party. It should be noted that Timchenko's name did not appear in the lists of preliminary electronic voting, later he stated that he was going to the PG in a special manner.
If we consider the situation from this perspective, we can assume that Redkina's persona is a tempting political asset for Ruskiy. Both from a financial and reputational standpoint. She has nothing to lose, knows what is really happening in medicine (a blow to Deputy Dmitry Kurdyumov, who oversees the city of Kirov during the election campaign), visible independence from influence groups... Not a candidate, but a dream. Plus, Olesya Alexandrovna has not definitively answered, leaving a 0.01 percent chance of her participation in the elections.

Olesya Redkina commented on her participation in the State Duma elections.
Former State Duma candidate from the SRZP party Olesya Redkina revealed under what circumstances she would participate in the State Duma elections. At the same time, sources suggest that a certain opposition "junta" is being formed behind the scenes in Kirov, allegedly led by former advisor to the Prime Minister of the Kirov region Mikhail Sandalov, a former deputy of the regional assembly from the SRZP, presumably the head of the election headquarters of the SRZP Dmitry Russkikh.
