The investigative department for the Lenin district has charged individuals with kidnapping (paragraphs "a, b, c" of part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, the suspects acted together and in coordination.
The crime occurred near one of the houses on 3rd Experimental Lane. The accused, driven by personal motives, forcibly placed a 26-year-old man into a car. Inside the vehicle, they struck him with various objects on his body, threatened him, and drove around the streets of the regional center.
After some time, the victim managed to free himself and escape from his pursuers. The man immediately contacted the police and reported what had happened.
The court has chosen preventive measures: the 39-year-old suspect has been taken into custody, while his 25-year-old accomplice is under house arrest. Investigators continue to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
