Residents of Belaya Kholunitsa are forced to take taxis due to the cancellation of buses.
In mid-May, bus routes No. 2 and No. 4 stopped operating in Belaya Kholunitsa. The reason is a shortage of drivers. Residents of the Sosnovka microdistrict and the village of Fedosyata used these buses to get to work, to the hospital, and to take their children to kindergarten. The district administration promised that the routes would be temporarily combined into one, which would run once an hour. However, according to residents, they do not see the combined bus. If it does appear, it is not on schedule. People from Sosnovka conducted an experiment: they waited at the final stop from 11 AM to 3 PM — the bus never arrived. Those without personal vehicles are forced to call a taxi. The morning trip to the kindergarten costs 200 rubles. To save money on the way back, people walk. The distance to Sosnovka is about three kilometers, and to Fedosyata is more than four. The district administration promised to return the buses in the fall and insists that the "combined" route is operational. However, residents have doubts: who and how controls the actual departure of the bus on the route. The People's Front has sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office. We remind you that we previously reported that in the Opalinsky district, the bus to the district center also disappeared. Local carriers stopped working, leaving hundreds of residents from several villages without the ability to reach hospitals, pharmacies, and stores. The distances to Opalino reached 60 kilometers. The situation was only resolved after the intervention of the regional government — bus service was restored on June 1.
