In Darovsky, they caught the driver responsible for the injuries of a girl and a guy.

      On the evening of June 3, in Darovsky on Sovetskaya Street, a UAZ driver collided with an electric bicycle traveling in the same direction and immediately fled the scene. As a result, a 20-year-old girl (the electric bicycle driver) and her 20-year-old passenger were injured. They were taken to the hospital.

      When the medics reported the incident to the police, law enforcement began searching for the fleeing driver. They found and interviewed witnesses and reviewed camera footage. Overnight, the man was located and brought to the station. He turned out to be a 37-year-old resident of the district center. As the police suspected, the man was intoxicated at the time of the collision. A criminal case was initiated against him under part 2 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules resulting in serious harm to health, associated with leaving the scene of the accident).
