The Rosselkhoznadzor has restricted the supply of fish and fish products from Armenia.
The Rosselkhoznadzor reported that from May 21 to 27, specialists inspected fish processing enterprises in Armenia and visited trout farming facilities. According to the agency, 50% of the enterprises refused inspections. As a result of the inspections, the Armenian side will have to suspend veterinary certification of live fish and fish products sent to Russia until the current situation is resolved. Two factories that passed the inspection are exceptions; their products will continue to be imported into the Russian Federation under the condition of laboratory monitoring for safety indicators.
