The credit rating of women is higher than that of men.
The "Unified Credit Bureau" published a study on the credit ratings of Russians for April 2026. Experts found that the average credit rating of borrowers last month was 722 points, which increased by three points over the year. At the same time, the average credit rating for women (740 points) is higher than for men (702 points).
A very high credit rating (from 875 points) is observed in 16.76% of Russians. A high rating (794-874) is held by 45.73% of citizens. An average rating (571-793) is found in 14.87% of borrowers. Finally, a low rating (1-570) is present in 22.63% of the residents of our country.
When considering age, the lowest average credit rating in April was among borrowers under 25 years old (633 points). The previous month it was 635 points, and a year ago it was 651. The highest credit rating (750 and above) last month was among women over 50 years old. Among men, the highest rating is noted at age 60 and older (747 points).
