The World Population Review portal addressed a topic that cannot be measured in numbers — female beauty. Instead of a single ranking, the authors presented two for 2025. The results differ drastically.
Russia in numbers
According to voting on Reddit, Russian women received 308 votes. This places them in fourth place. Only Colombia (345), Poland (324), and Greece (311) rank higher. The fifth position is held by the Czech Republic (301). Sweden is in sixth place (296).
However, the Insider Monkey ranking places Russia in 17th place. No explanation is provided in the study as to why this is the case. The authors of the World Population Review merely state: different sources use different criteria, and none of the approaches can be considered scientific.
Who was placed first
The Reddit vote chose Colombia. Insider Monkey chose South Korea. The second place for the latter went to Brazil, and third to the USA. Japan is fourth, and Germany is sixth.
The main discrepancy
Poland. On Reddit, it is second (324 votes). On Insider Monkey, it is 48th. The Czech Republic: fifth place in one ranking and 50th in another. Greece: third among users and 15th among analysts.
The World Population Review emphasizes: some sources evaluate wins in international beauty contests, others — surveys on forums, and others — the frequency of models appearing in magazines. There is no universal method. This is precisely why the numbers vary so widely.
