The migration check revealed 18 fake registrations in the "LInTech houses."
In 11 houses attached to LInTech, an inspection was conducted — migration service employees identified 18 parents who had fictitiously registered their children in the houses to enroll them in a prestigious lyceum.
Recall that the controversial situation arose in early April. Parents (about 50 people) living near the new lyceum building reported at a meeting that more than 70 fictitiously registered children made it to the lists first, pushing aside those who have been registered and living in these houses for a long time.
On April 7, a deputy of the Kirov City Duma, Alexander Nikulin, was invited to the meeting with the outraged residents. He, as promised, sent deputy inquiries requesting to check the situation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the prosecutor's office.
In the houses attached to LInTech, migration service employees visited the apartments and asked where the future first-graders actually live, and in which apartments such children are absent. The first results did not take long to arrive: as a result of 9 inspections, 18 cases of illegal registration were identified — the children were removed from the registration records.
The prosecutor's office of the Kirov region responded that "the work to identify fictitious registration continues. The final lists of children to be enrolled in the Lyceum will be formed after the verification activities are completed."
Recall that the acceptance of applications for first grades will end on June 30. It is planned that 100 first-graders will be enrolled in LInTech.
"This is not an isolated problem with enrollment in first grades," commented Just Russia member Alexander Nikulin. "Kirov residents are striving by all means to get into new schools and prestigious lyceums. Our party has long raised the issue of the lack of schools in Kirov. However, the announced plans to build 14 schools in the region, voiced by the authorities in 2023, have not even been half fulfilled: currently, only 6 new schools have opened. The others are either not being built at all or are stuck at various stages, and no one can provide exact timelines! My position remains unchanged: children must study in normal conditions close to home! Educational problems need to be systematically addressed in our region: build schools, nurture teaching staff. Otherwise, the main problem of the country — demographics — will not disappear!"
