A 17-year-old local resident will be tried in Yaran. He is accused under paragraph "z" of part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of serious harm to health, dangerous to human life, committed using an object used as a weapon). According to the Investigative Committee, on November 30, 2025, in Yaran, near a house on Herzen Street, the accused had a quarrel with a peer and struck him on the head with an object. The investigators did not specify what it was. As a result, the victim sustained a closed traumatic brain injury. Later, doctors concluded that serious harm had been caused to his health. As of today, the investigation has been completed. The materials have been submitted for consideration in court.
