Cobblestones and curbs have been brought to the embankment in Slobodskoy.
In April 2026, the improvement of the embankment started in Slobodskoy. A contract was signed with the company "Aven-Sever," amounting to 108.4 million rubles. The completion of the work is scheduled for October 30, 2026.
As part of the project "From the Rotunda to the Scarlet Sails," it is planned to expand the pedestrian zone along the river and pave it with cobblestones, as well as create viewing platforms, install lamps, video cameras, swings, chess tables, and benches. In addition, the contractor must repair the rotunda, create architectural lighting, and landscaping.
As reported by the Ministry of Construction, in a month and a half, the contractor managed to clear the embankment of overgrowth and bring in cobblestones and curbs. Currently, work is underway to create paths and viewing platforms, as well as to lay electrical lines for lighting.
