The Prosecutor's Office of the Primorsky District of Kirov checked how the legislation on minors is being observed. The basis for this was information discovered during monitoring of the media and the internet: reports of a child being injured were received.
The incident occurred on March 27, 2025, near a house on 60 Years of Komsomol Street. A dog, which was not being watched by its owner, attacked a minor and bit him in the face. The child experienced physical pain and moral suffering.
The prosecutor acted on behalf of the 8-year-old victim and appealed to the court. The demand was to recover compensation for moral damages from the animal's owner. The court granted the claim: the dog's owner was ordered to pay 50,000 rubles.
The Prosecutor's Office monitored the enforcement of the decision. The money was paid, and the child's rights were restored.
