Boris Vesnin: "The scale of road construction in the northwest of the region is impressive!"
The project for the construction of the road to the northwest of the Kirov region is a strategic priority for the region's road industry. It is being implemented on the instructions of the governor, secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party, Alexander Sokolov.
In 2025, a 26-kilometer section from Vazyuk to Oparino was asphalted. This year, the reconstruction of the bridge over the Pushma River and a 16-kilometer section from Pinyug to Skryabino is underway.
Boris Vesnin held a working meeting with the head of the Podosиновский district, Dmitry Koposov, and representatives of the contracting organization leading the bridge reconstruction. The readiness of the facility is 35%, and the work is being carried out ahead of the approved schedule.
Boris Vesnin:
— I remember well how in 2012 we opened the Vazyuk - Oparino section in gravel, and in 2021 - Oparino - Almezh, which had many justified complaints about its quality. Today, the situation is fundamentally changing. In one year, as much is being done as was previously done in decades. Asphalt is appearing where it has never been before. For the northwestern districts and the entire Kirov region, this is truly a historic event.
I am grateful to the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, for the decision to prioritize this direction. As a deputy of the Legislative Assembly, I have supported the need for the construction of the road to the northwest of the region at all stages and will continue this work further.
