      В школе № 22 города Кирова прошла торжественная церемония открытия «Парты Героя», посвящённая выпускнику этой школы, поэту-фронтовику Овидию Михайловичу Любовикову, сообщили в правительстве области. В мероприятии участвовали дети, учителя, родственники героя и представители общественности. Овидий Михайлович Любовиков родился 26 октября 1924 года в селе Усть-Чепца (ныне Кирово-Чепецк). В 16 лет, в феврале 1942 года, он добровольно ушёл на фронт и служил в лыжном батальоне. Он прошёл всю войну: командовал взводом ПВО, артиллерийским взводом и батареей «Катюш», освобождал Подмосковье, Новгород и Псков, а также Прибалтику. Получив ранения, он вернулся в строй. После войны Овидий Михайлович работал журналистом, в том числе в «Кировской правде». Его стихотворение «В строй!», написанное в июне 1941 года, прочитал по всесоюзному радио Юрий Левитан. В 1967 году стихи Овидия Любовикова были высечены на обелиске у Вечного огня в Кирове.
