A resident of Slobodskoy was sent to a colony for drunk driving on a motorcycle.
According to the prosecutor's office of the Kirov region, the resident of Slobozhansk was found guilty under part 2 of article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person who already has a criminal record for a similar offense.
The court established that on July 7, 2025, the man was riding a "Minsk" motorcycle on the road in the village of Vakhryushi. He was stopped by police officers. The driver showed clear signs of intoxication, so he was removed from driving the vehicle.
During the check, it was revealed that the man had previously been prosecuted for drunk driving.
The court sentenced him to 1 year and 3 months of imprisonment, along with a four-year ban on driving. The convicted person will serve his sentence in a general regime colony. The motorcycle was confiscated for state revenue.
