Colleagues and management: Russians spoke about harassment at work

      According to a study by "SuperJob," 5% of respondents faced harassment from management, while another 8% experienced it from colleagues. The study involved 1,600 economically active Russians, as well as representatives from 500 companies across different regions of the country.

      Women encounter such situations more often than men. Specifically, 6% of Russian women reported inappropriate behavior from management, compared to 4% of men. Regarding harassment from colleagues, 10% of women and 5% of men reported such incidents.

      Millennials were the most likely to speak about harassment. Among respondents aged 25 to 35, 6% reported harassment from management. Russians aged 35 to 45 were more likely to report inappropriate behavior from colleagues, with 9% of them doing so.

      The study also revealed that official procedures for investigating allegations of sexual harassment are only in place in 6% of Russian companies.
