A criminal case has been initiated in the Sanchursky district for illegal logging amounting to 350 thousand.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region reports the initiation of a criminal case in the Sanchursky District regarding illegal logging of forest plantations. This was preceded by an inspection of compliance with legislation on the protection, preservation, and reproduction of forests, conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of the Sanchursky District.
During the inspection activities in the territory of the Sanchursky district forestry, a fact of illegal logging was recorded. The amount of material damage caused to the forest fund of the Kirov Region amounted to over 350 thousand rubles.
The results of the inspection were sent by the prosecutor's office to the investigation for a criminal legal assessment of the established circumstances. Based on the materials of the prosecutor's inspection, the investigative body initiated a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 260 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal logging of forest plantations).
The investigation is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
