The Social Fund Department for the Kirov Region has reported on the support measures that will be available to women with the title "Mother-Heroine" (who have raised 10 or more children) starting in 2026. As of January, the law equates them to Labor Heroes.
There are two such women in the region. Both have not yet reached retirement age. The SFR specialists have already assigned them the entitled payments. The main one is the monthly cash payment (EDV). In 2026, its amount will be 76,500 rubles. The status is assigned automatically—immediately after receiving the title.
When these women retire, they will also start receiving additional material support (DMO)—39,100 rubles per month.
"Support for motherhood and childhood is a long-term priority in the work of the regional Social Fund. We not only provide maternity capital and benefits but also take special care of families with outstanding contributions to the country. The title 'Mother-Heroine' is recognition of colossal labor, and our task is to ensure these families have the most comfortable access to all entitled payments," commented Nikolai Pasynkov, head of the SFR Department for the Kirov Region.
Additionally, for mothers who have given birth to and raised 10 or more children, early retirement on an insurance pension is provided at the age of 50, with 15 years of insurance experience and 30 pension coefficients.
