      In the village of Shikhovo in the Slobodskoe district, a plant for the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) has been put into operation. Pipeline gas has been supplied to the facility: 315 meters of networks were laid, and a metering unit and gas preparation block were installed.

      The plant's capacity is 1 ton of product per hour (about 720 tons per month). The liquefied gas is planned to be used as gas engine fuel in the Kirov region and neighboring areas, as well as for gasifying homes and farms without access to main gas.

      The plant was built in three months.
