"Built a shelter and waited for morning": a teenager who got lost in the forest was found in the Kirov region
A letter from a resident of Kirov was received by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov Region. The woman thanked the employees who searched for her underage son in the forest.
Earlier, the department reported that the 14-year-old teenager had gone on a hike to the Kumensky district by himself. From early morning until late evening, he was in contact with his mother, but then his phone died. During the last conversation, he managed to say that he was near the village of Bykovo.
The Kirov resident reported the incident to the police. Law enforcement officers, together with the search and rescue team "Lisa Alert," organized the search. By morning, the location of the teenager was established.
It turned out that the young man got lost when his phone died. He built a shelter in the forest and spent the night in it. He did not require medical assistance, and no illegal actions were committed against him. Police officers helped him return home.
In her letter, the Kirov resident noted the conscientious work and humane attitude of law enforcement officers. "I thank all the employees for their professionalism and immediate response," the woman emphasized.
