Trutnev was disappointed with the Russian stands at the EXPO in Harbin.
According to Trutnev, upon entering the EXPO, he saw a sharp contrast: on the Chinese side, drones and robots were being showcased, while the Russian stands were mainly represented by honey and crabs. "I honestly want to admit that when we walked through it and I saw that we only had honey and crabs, while our friends had drones and robots, I was a bit upset," the official was quoted by the Krasnodar TV channel. However, after a more detailed inspection, the Deputy Prime Minister changed his opinion: he realized that Russia brought not only food products but also serious technological developments — including models of helicopters and fighter jets. In the end, Trutnev called the exhibition "quite balanced" and urged for a more active exchange of technologies between countries. Let us remind you that on May 13, we reported that the Kirov region also sent its products to this exhibition — Dymkovo toys and matryoshkas, which the regional tourism development center called "a true pride of Vyatka."
