Employees of the regional FSB office revealed details of a criminal case against a resident of Kirov. The suspect was identified during operational search activities: he acted through Telegram. According to the investigation, the man called for terrorist acts. He targeted two categories of individuals — representatives of the authorities of the new subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as military personnel involved in the special military operation. The investigative department of the FSB initiated a criminal case under part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism, or propaganda of terrorism). The investigation concluded with the transfer of materials to the court. The sentence was handed down by the Central District Military Court. The resident of Kirov was found guilty. The punishment is 5.5 years of imprisonment to be served in a general regime colony. The press service of the FSB added that the sentence has not yet entered into legal force.
