In Kirov, the organizers of an underground casino were convicted.

      From April to September 2025, the group members organized an illegal gambling business in Kirov, despite the existing ban on such activities outside of special gaming zones. A total of 73 gaming computers were used for conducting gambling activities. Law enforcement officers put an end to the illegal activities. The court found all five defendants guilty under part 2 of article 171.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. One of the defendants, whose role contributed to the organization of the gambling business, was fined 100,000 rubles. The other group members received fines ranging from 50,000 to 55,000 rubles. The court also ordered the confiscation of 117,000 rubles of illegal income for the state, as well as the equipment used to organize gambling: 67 monitors, 73 system units, and a mobile phone.
