Illegal infected wood was exported from the Kirov region to another region.

      The inspection of LLC "Red Partisan," operating in the Luzhsky District, took place from April 16 to 29 in coordination with the prosecutor's office. During the inspection, specialists found that a batch of timber with a volume of 36 cubic meters contained quarantine pests — the large black spruce bark beetle and the black pine bark beetle.

      As reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor, the infected wood was stored together with timber free from quarantine objects. Additionally, in March of this year, the organization exported more than 10 cubic meters of spruce logs from the quarantine phytosanitary zone to the Arkhangelsk region without undergoing state quarantine control and without the necessary documentation.

      The agency considered this a violation of the federal law "On Plant Quarantine."

      On May 4, LLC "Red Partisan" was held administratively liable under Article 10.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. The organization was fined and issued a directive to rectify the violations.
