On the evening of April 27, a fire occurred in the Vega shopping center, located in Slobodskoy at Sovetskaya, 66. This was reported by the head of the city, Irina Zhelvakova. Recently, the regional emergency management agency reported that the area of the fire reached 40 square meters. 23 agency employees were working on-site, and six units of equipment were used. The likely cause of the fire is a short circuit of electrical wires in the attic. The emergency management agency added that another fire occurred in the village of Verkhnyaya Toyma in the Vyatskopolyansky district. There, a private residential house and outbuildings burned over an area of 180 square meters. 16 people fought the fire, and seven units of equipment were used. The cause is attributed to careless handling of fire.
