Kirov beneficiaries began receiving vouchers to sanatoriums in 2026.
In the Kirov region, the first results of the sanatorium-resort rehabilitation program for 2026 have been summarized. Since January, 454 people with federal benefits have received free vouchers. This was reported by the regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia (SFR).
The fund has signed contracts not only with sanatoriums in the Kirov region but also with institutions in other regions of the Russian Federation. This allows patients to be directed for treatment based on medical indications. At the same time, full financial support is maintained: along with the voucher, tickets for free travel to and from the treatment location are provided.
Who is entitled to vouchers and for how long
The benefit is available to federal beneficiaries who receive a monthly cash payment (EDV) and have retained the right to a set of social services (NSU) in kind. If a person previously chose a cash compensation instead of a voucher, sanatorium treatment will not be covered.
The duration of stay in the health resort depends on the category of the recipient and the medical profile:
18 days — standard course for adults;
21 days — for children with disabilities;
from 24 to 42 days — intensive rehabilitation for patients with diseases or consequences of spinal and brain injuries.
As noted by Nikolai Pasynkov, the manager of the SFR branch in the Kirov region, the state support standard guarantees no financial costs for the citizen. The beneficiary receives both the voucher and travel for free.
How to get in line
To get in line, it is necessary to provide the original medical certificate in the form №070/u. The document is issued at the medical institution and confirms the presence of indications and the absence of contraindications.
An application can be submitted through the "Gosuslugi" portal (the most efficient way), in person at the SFR client service, or at the MFC. The distribution of vouchers occurs in the order of queue, which is formed taking into account the date of application submission and the disease profile.

The working hours of the regional line are Mon–Thu from 8:00 to 17:00, and on Friday from 8:00 to 15:45. The Kirov region ranked in the top 5 of the Volga Federal District for the amount of benefits for housing and communal services but fell behind neighbors in subsidies.
