Migrants were checked in Kirov.
According to the law, men of conscription age who have obtained Russian citizenship are required to register for military service. This must be done within two weeks of taking the oath — even before receiving a passport. However, as practice shows, many do not comply with this requirement.
Such raids are conducted across the country. Markets, warehouses, retail outlets, and construction sites are checked — places where former migrants who have obtained a Russian passport work. With citizenship, they gain not only rights but also obligations.
During an inspection at the Central Market in Kirov, it was revealed that violators who were caught earlier are now indeed registered with the military enlistment office. Over the year, dozens of such "draft dodgers" have been found in the region — they have been registered, and at the same time, held administratively accountable.
