"Dynamo" won with a majority.
Today, April 25, Kirov's "Dynamo" played another match in the national football championship in the second league. Their opponents were fellow club members from Stavropol. The weather was unfortunate again – it rained throughout the match. In such conditions, it is difficult to show combinational football, and the teams relied on long shots, which, however, did not lead to any goals. The defining moment came in the middle of the first half when a guest player was punished with a straight red card for excessive emotionality. With a numerical advantage, our team became more aggressive and almost immediately after the break opened the scoring (Evgeny Pesikov scored). The goal was disappointing for the Stavropol team – it resulted from a deflection. The match ended with a score of 1:0. The second round of the tournament in the "Silver" division began with a victory for the Dynamo players.
