      Today, April 24, the page of FC "Mashinstroitel" on social media posted the following message: "The club's management has made the decision - the football club is suspending its operations."

      This has undoubtedly become a real sensation, and not just in sports. "Mashinstroitel" is one of the oldest teams in the region. Next year it will turn 100 years old! "Mashinka" (as fans habitually call the team) has traditionally been formed from local players, earning the love of football fans who eagerly awaited the new season. And suddenly such news...

      To be fair, it should be noted that the clouds over the team began to gather back in March. On the same social media page, a post was made stating that "Mashinstroitel" has nowhere to conduct its preseason training, hinting at some opposition from sports officials.

      Later, the club announced that it was withdrawing from the "Golden Ring" championship (where it had participated, with some breaks, since the 90s). The reason given was that due to some teams, the tournament is gradually turning from amateur to professional, which deprives it of intrigue and competitive spirit.

      And now the "final chord." But "Mashinstroitel" makes it clear that not everything is lost.

      "We are closing the door, but not forever. It’s too painful to say 'goodbye,' so we will say: 'See you later.' 'Mashinstroitel' is not dying. It is falling asleep. To return in 2027. We will return. Even better. Even stronger. With new strength and the same love for football. One century is just the beginning. We will continue this story. For sure," the message states.
