The former dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Vyacheslav Onoshko, has passed away.
As Churin noted, for him, Onoshko was "much more than a dean" — a teacher in the deepest sense of the word. Thirty-one years of leading the faculty, according to the author of the post, became an entire era, behind which stand generations of students, fates, and paths.
Churin called Vyacheslav Nikolaevich a bright scholar who made a colossal contribution to the development of linguistic education in the Kirov region. According to him, Onoshko prepared true professionals — people with thinking, culture, and inner discipline. "He taught not only languages. He shaped an approach to work, set a level to which one wanted to strive," wrote the general director of "Selmash."
Also, as Churin reported, the former dean maintained contact with graduates years after leaving the university. For him, this communication was especially important — to preserve human, respectful interaction over the years.
He also reminded that Vyacheslav Nikolaevich was an honorary guest of the private "Elite of Education in the Kirov Region" award established by Churin. According to the author of the post, this was a sincere acknowledgment of his contribution and a sign of respect.
"Such people shape the university and remain in everyone who has passed through their school. Vyacheslav Nikolaevich lived a great, worthy life — in service to the cause, students, and knowledge," concluded Alexander Churin.
The editorial team of Newsler.ru expresses sincere condolences to the relatives and family of Vyacheslav Nikolaevich Onoshko.
