In the Verkhoshizhemsky district, a schoolboy saved a girl who had fallen into a water-filled ditch.
Recently, a post appeared in the public group "My Verkhoshizhem District | Verkhoshizhemye" about the courageous act of a local schoolboy. A resident of the village recounted that, in her presence, a little girl fell into a water-filled ditch near the tank memorial at the intersection of Kirova and Sovetskaya streets. The child was immediately being pulled under the water. At that moment, an 11th-grade student from Verkhoshizhem Secondary School was passing by. He rushed to pull the girl out. After rescuing her from the water, the teenager advised to call her mother right away.
Later in the comments, the girl's mother expressed immense gratitude to the schoolboy for saving her daughter. "A low bow to you for your decisiveness, which helped avoid a tragedy," she wrote. "And to the parents, for raising such a good son."
The schoolboy's mother also commented on the incident. She was glad that her son was able to help the girl and expressed hope that this incident did not affect her health. The woman also thanked the administration, which fenced off the dangerous area after the incident. "We hope that in the future, the administration will take measures to enhance the safety of this area so that something like this does not happen again, as this territory attracts many children and teenagers and is located in the center of the village," she added.
